James Moye is an Actor based in New York City.  His career boasts five Broadway shows, films, TV shows, commercials, world premiere musicals, and plays at many of America’s finest regional theaters.  Whether playing leading men or supporting characters, James has experienced a great deal of critical success.  When reviewing James as File in 110 In The Shade for The New York Times, chief theater critic Ben Brantley commented, “The excellent James Moye finds shadows of wryness and uneasiness in the stoicism of a country sheriff who has been burned by love.”  James has worked with some of the most prominent directors in America today, including TONY winners, Walter Bobbie, Jack O’Brien, John Rando, Susan Stroman, Jerry Zaks, Kathleen Marshall, Joe Mantello and Jerry Mitchell.  James is a Council member of Actor’s Equity Association, the governing body of the theater actor’s union, and he is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
